A demonstration day for the Ultrasonic Inspection of Austenitic Dissimilar Welds is to be held in Peak NDT, Derby on the 25th of January 2011. This demonstration day is organised to frame the DISSIMILAR project.

Following on from the ideas presented in the 7th Internationa Conference on NDE, this paper was published in the proceedings of the 10th European Conference on NDT in June 2010.

The weld quantified in the DISSIMILAR project and implementation of the concepts developed were explored within the finite element modelling package PZ Flex, and presented in the Review of Progress in Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation in July 2010.
